Marie Rowan is a schoolteacher and a tour guide at Celtic Park. She grew up a fourth generation Celtic supporter in Glasgow, her great-grandfather having been one of the first to cheer on the Bhoys at the original Celtic Park. First taken to Parkhead in the early 1950s by her Celtic-mad father, she was privileged to witness such greats as Charlie Tully and, her own favourite, the immensely skilful Willie Fernie playing for the Celts. Working as a tour guide at Celtic Park has allowed her to indulge in her passion for researching the earliest days of the club. Marie is also the author of five novels.
