Author

James Robertson is a co-founder of Itchy Coo. He writes books for both adults and children, in English and in Scots. His novel The Testament of Gideon Mack was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2006 and featured on the Richard and Judy Book Club in 2007. For Itchy Coo his translations include Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom, Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox and A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh.

Matthew Fitt is a published novelist and poet as w ell as a translator. An acknowledged expert in the field of Scots language education, Matthew has written numerous children's books and has translated a number of titles into Scots including Roald Dahl's The Eejits and Geordie's Mingin Medicine.

Karen Sutherland is an award-winning artist who is also the illustrator of Animal ABC, A Moose in the Hoose, Eck the Bee and all the books in the KATIE series, Katie's Coo, Katie's Moose and Katie's Ferm.
